Installed Creative Steel 'Mega Deal' , BMR Support Brace, & Lingenfelter Short Throw Finally got all my bushings & mounts installed along with a BMR pinion support brace and a lingenfelter /kaytech short throw shifter ... WOW!
It feels like a different V all together!
Most noticeable difference is that the 'thunk' in-between shifts is completely gone!!
I still hear some rattling when I turn off the car but that is most likely a sign of a my clutch/flywheel needing to be replaced (LS7 clutch coming soon)
The shifting is very stiff right now but I am presuming that I will need to break the shifter in a bit.
All in all a great improvement!
A must for any higher mileage V owner.

I wish I did the install myself but I definitely do not have all the right tools or time for it for that matter.
I took it to a local shop and they took care of it all for me.

I paid about $1,100 total for everything which also included installing installing creative steel toe rods & alignment.
The labor is definitely not cheap that is for sure.
For the Motor Mounts as well as the diff bushing you are probably looking at around $800 (well that's what I would have paid if I was just getting those done)

FYI, the only thing I really needed a lift for was the Transmission mount. Took it to my favorite shop and they charged me $40 to put that in.
I put in the motor mounts and diff bushing & block in my garage.
I did buy a nice new low profile jack to help with my install.

Anything you can do on your own is obviously the way to go.
I don't have the right tools for things like this so for me to start tinkering around would not have been a good idea (lol)
The diff mount was most labor intensive as they had to drop the exhaust and sub frame.
I do believe CS makes a tool that cuts a lot of that labor out.
They also took out the entire shifter mechanism and rebuilt it with the lingenfelter short throw shifter.
Knowing them, they milked as much of the labor as they possibly could (smh)
But all in all the upgrades are WELL worth it!

Damn, well EVERYONE be sure to order the CS Tool when ordering the Mega Deal bushing/mount kit & save yourself a ton of money on labor!!
