Default T56 Assembly Question

I'm on the last leg of assembling thus T56, and I reached into the bin that I had the cf rings soaking in, and pulled out two very thin spacers/thrust washers. Can anyone tell me where the go? I never noticed them during the tear down

Could be shims at the end of the main shaft or counter shaft...hard to tell from a couple words.

Do you have the t56 assembly pdf? It was very helpful when I attempted a rebuild endeavor.

Photo added. Couldn't do it from the mobile site. They only fit down to the splined portion of the main shaft, so I'm assuming these would go on the countershaft, I just don't see it in the manual.

The last bearing on the main shaft, that rides on the race in the tail cover has a spacer on each side of it. You probably have that right but just making sure. Are they metal?

Just in case the manual doesn't show this.

Yes, they are metal. That picture looks more like an inverted countershaft. Looks like they go on either side of the 6th gear bearing

Unfortunately, I don't think mileage really matters. I bought my V with 49K and babied its entire life. Reverse was practically unusable and when the trans was cracked open, both the reverse bearing and syncro were shot.
