Question V1 Lowering Question: Endlinks

I can't seem to get a definitive answer on which endlinks to use for a coilover installation on my V1. Some say Z06, some say adjustable.

This may also be a dumb question, but I assume that whichever option you go with, you're going to need both the front and the rear sets, correct?

I have the opportunity to purchase a full set of 4 Z06 endlinks at cost, that I'd love to use if they'll work.

Every thread I found that mentioned endlinks also, in some way, involved installing upgraded sway bars. I'm keeping the stock V bars for now. I'm aware that the Z06 route will involve drilling out the holes to fit the bigger studs.

I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse here. Searching for a while has only lead me in circles.

I ran powergrid endlinks on mine, and I was about as low as KW's let you go for handling purposes. The tuneability of adjustables is very nice, in respect to preload on the sways.

Power grid links are fantastic, especially for mild tuning, they are a quality piece. Add coil overs and sway bars, space does become a factor

I put the corvette endlinks on mine, but I have a static drop so I didn't need the adjustability. I definitely like the stout OEM durability of the new pieces, but I don't like that I had to drill out the holes. I didn't read carefully enough into it and didn't have a 12mm drill bit--only a 1/2", so there was some play that I had to shim out with some metal zip ties and a good torque on the endlink nuts.

I used these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Supra-MA70-GA70-JZA70-adjustable-sway-bar-endlink-Swaybar-End-Links-/121357500853?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c417881b5
You have to cut down the threaded rod as it is too long the way it comes, but that is easy. I think they are equal or better than the 160$ power grid option for just the fronts .

Edit: found them on Ebay for cheaper than 160$. Still 110$ for just two (not four):http://www.ebay.com/itm/Powergrid-Swaybar-Endlinks-350Z-Miata-Brand-New-end-link-/291142667882?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43c9748e6a&vxp=mtr

Did your search find this page:https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...end-links.html?

Also, to go back to your original question as to what will work, stock will work, the corvette links will work (larger hole drilled), but the adjustable are the best way to go, since they 're adjustable. Opens up your options for later.

Edit: Also, when lowered and using the stock or corvette links your sway bar will not be as "responsive" technically. It will work the same and I bet you see no difference since you're lowering the center of gravity. But since you're lowering the car it will allow the sway bar to drop along with it, giving the stock end links a less than optimum (90 degrees) angle to the road. So basically your sway bars will be lower than the top of the link. If that makes sense?
