Default No sound from speakers after rain

So before when it rained my car would make really loud static noise and speakers would cut out but work again when it dries couple hours later. It about week and half ago, they went out, said thryll work later an now they don't work at all. Anybody know why? Don't really know where to check either. If their grounds where are the grounds?

I had this happen once. The Bose amp in the trunk got wet. Mine didn't happen from rain, rather a cooler full of water leaking all over hell. But I would guess your trunk is leaking when it rains. When it drys out (mine took a couple of days) they will work again. Or atleast mine did. Good luck!

Yep, I bet it's the weatherstrip at the top of the trunk leaking.

The amp may survive. Just let it dry out and see if it recovers.

Pull the amp out and close the trunk. Pour some water over the area and see if it leaks. The car is leaking somewhere so you need to find out where. Just make sure you don't have any power to the wires when you're checking
