It's worth a lot more to me than it is an average Joe off the street. Enthusiasts see value in clean modifications and workmanship.

Bear that in mind.

Man that car looks sweet. I think it mostly depends on where you live. If you sell it in California you could get $20k for that thing. But I've seen cars in other places go for much much less. Makes me want to move, but the weather here is awesome.

I definitely believe it would have to be the right buyer for this car. I've put in a lot of effort to make sure all my modifications are done right so I hopefully never have to touch them again

Damn, that mod list made my head spin. You've got a LOT of cash tied up in that car. The SC is probably the largest value adder though.

What would be your reason for selling? You have a nice well rounded build there that you won't recoup much on (I would think). I say keep it.

My first V I paid $30k for back when that was the going price. My second was $18k with high mileage and a rebuilt title. I'm glad I didn't drop over $50k new on one. That'd be a little depressing.

I'd like to move to a smaller more nimble car for a while, preferably a cayman S. I have 2 other cars/trucks and 2 motorcycles so i don't need more vehicles.

There's roughly $7500 and i might have under priced some of this stuff...whats left would still be a nice lightly modified car that should bring around 15k...

Do you still have stock parts?

I'd consider the driveshaft....

I paid 15,900 for mine bone stock with 84,000 miles on it In Nashville tn a month ago. They go for anywhere from 10,000 ruff condition to 20 grand modded out, here. And you are lucky to catch them for sale. There are a few low mileage V2's for mid 30's in the Chattanooga area. I hope that helps a little.

I just picked up an 07 V with 94k for 15k. Excellent condition, but I had to go out of state to get it. In Atlanta V prices are pretty strong. Mine is stock except for magnaflow exhaust a simple tune and some bump in the trunk.
The good thing is these cars are still highly desirable, and I think they are gonna stay strong especially as private sale cars, with good history. I've also been reading that the 2016 cts-V may not have a manual trans option. Face it, rwd sedans with a manual are slim pickings(reduced supply). In the LS world theres the V and the g8 gxp.....that's it. New 2gVs are still in the low 40's with miles, 6spd gxp's are unicorns.
Big thing is with age, the cars get harder to finance...there are fewer buyers available cuz they gotta have cash or really strong credit (lol these days).....dealer trade in is weak, yet they retail like hell. Good thing is credit is cheap right now, for the right buyer.
I wish mine had some drive line mods. Most stuff that goes into improving the car, you're just not gonna get much back out it (if anything). Superchargers I think your doing good if you can get 50-60% of retail (excluding labor and supporting mods)....even still, some folks don't want to touch a modded car (thinking its been ragged). Big mods like superchargers probably sell better parted out. Part of the fun is building them up yourself.

All in all, no matter its worth, you only get what someone is willing to pay for it.

OP, how long have you had your car....looks a lot like a local one (acworth,Ga) I tried to get a little while back. Had a big blower, black plastidipped grille, and the polished split sevens. Couldn't get financing on it at the time due to mileage.

I've owned it for 5 years. I bought the car bone stock and have done all the mods myself.
