Default Track Wheels and New Spray Paint Colors

Since my track wheels had seen better days and could use a coat of paint I decided to try something a little different. I hope the color adds at least 10-15hp, if not I'll try a new color in a little while and see if the results differ.

Nah, I want real cheap and easy enough (until it comes time for a new color)...

It's Rustoleum Brilliant blue.

Surprisingly one can of their 2x paint did all 4 wheels with good coverage.

You should do each spoke a different color.

Adds 30-35hp that way

I just washed them, gave them a light scuffing (removed the gloss) then wiped them down with IPA. We'll see how long it last.

I smoothed out some of the curb marks and other scratches that were in the wheels when I bought them too before hand. (they look good from 5', but up close you can see I didn't take the time to smooth out all of the scratches where they perfectly blend in, but they are track wheels, so I really didn't want to put in a large time investment.

Cool, track parts should be ugly. I've washed things down with an IPA, but never wiped something down with it. Seems like a waste.
