Yeah that's a pretty shady, deceptive, and manipulating thing to do - take someone's hard work, shop it around and when that doesn't work, rip it to pieces and create drama. Anyone else experience that kinda crap?
Glad we don't have that here! Keep up the hard work Brian, looking forward to seeing these offered to the community.

Just a guess after his last post saying he was considering scraping the whole thing and there wasn't any profit in it. Don't know for sure but it didn't sound good.
I seriously am considering scrapping this whole motor mount idea and just living with swapping out the crap mounts from Revshift that continually fail in my car and the mounts that are transmitting vibration. The amount of time and effort involved in designing the parts, getting them made, powdercoated, assembled, boxed and shipped is really not worth the damn hassle. I don't do this to support my family and the amount of profit per set is damn near nothing.

LOL, way to go Philistine... holding up production. For a damn good cause though
Anyways, my RS blue's are holding together for now; definitely interested in this new design.

So I put UMIs in my car and now I fear my driveline isn't straight. The witness marks on the bolt holes on the trans crossmember didn't line up (1/2" off at least) after the clutch/mount install and I wasn't able to get it realigned to where it originally was because the UMIs lock the motor down...no give in any of that..the motor sits where the motor sits and it ain't movin. I loosened and re-tightened motor mount bolts with no luck.
To correct this, I'm going to have to take the UMIs out of the car, mill the bushing side of the mount down so that its narrower than the u shaped part that captures it and then use shims to make up the difference. By swapping the shims around, I can realign the drivetrain to some extent. All I'd need is about a 1/4" in each mount and a few big aXX fender washers as shims...
So, if I was building the perfect CTS-V motor mount, I would build it with not only softer bushings than the UMIs, but I'd make the top, u-shaped part of the mount wider than the bottom bushing part of the mount and then use shims to make up the difference so I can align the drivetrain.
Just a suggestion....
