I think a small cowl and some nice heat extraction vents is my ideal hood.

That would be nice, then add a ZL1 style heat extractor.

I think the D3 hood looks the best so far...It has the aggressive look I think we are going after with the added benefit of the heat extraction...win/win!

Would love to see just a nice stylish cowl hood.... fiber or carbon would be fine.... IMO heat extractors look too import.... like it or not these cars are muscle cars.... they deserve to look like it

Yea the super import look isn't for us. A friend of mine told me that my car wasn't a muscle car a while ago and I just laughed. I do think a subtle hood would set this car off just right though

both of those two V2 hoods are awesome. I personally like the heat extractors on the sides of the cowl of the first pic but like the aggressive cowl on the D3 more. Haha

But yes, I want that hood...

This is one of the coolest hoods! The day I picked it up from the body shop:

I like that style. But maybe a smaller, more square style vent more similar to the ZL1.

My main concern would be actually having added clearance from the hood. It would be nice to be able to run a different intake manifold other than the Fast LSXR, maybe the LSXR-T or one of the other edelbrock or holley hi-ram manifolds, even a custom unit if someone wanted to spend that much dough.

I like my Extreme Composites hood, although after seeing the C7 heat extractor cut into a stock hood (pics on facebook group) I'm pondering if it could be added to mine.

I think the extreme composites hood looks great too I jut would like a bit more of a cowl or aggression put into it. It looks very subtle but nice.

Im looking for a bit more aggressive cowl look and most importantly - heat extraction! These things get toasty under there!!

Laygo and Rock44 the hoods you have would be perfect for me. One of the many reasons I like the V's are because they are sleepers and the only thing that may give it away are exhaust notes and of course the "V" badge.

Z06, your hoods are top notch. The cowl with the subtle heat extractor vent is perfect and would look killer on a Vee. Damn, I wish I still had my CTS.
