Agreed. Nothing but a **** tease. It wouldn't hurt to ask if they'd consider another design. There's obviously interest if R&D isn't too much. Who's going to ask?

I exchanged emails with Quik Z06 yesterday and he is still interested in providing a hood option. He just got caught up with other stuff. I am sure you guys can relate. Think of it this way. Any business is motivated by profit (don't get me started on non-profits). The greater his motivation the larger profit he is likely to expect...

Hey guys, I've been super busy lately. With that said I sent this link to my manufacturer to check out the pics of the hoods. I asked to have couple hoods made, both would be cowl, one vented and one not. I'll let you guys know what they say and when they hope to start.

I really like number 7. for the v1. that hood is just so dang sexy but I heard the vents are hard to mold in.....I would love an aftermarket hood for my v1!

If we do a vented one, they will all be part of the hood. In other words it wont have like a grill over a vent or something.

Quik, if you need a car for fitment let me know. Unless someone on here is closer. I miiiiight be throwing an LS3 in mine so I will want some extra hood clearance for a fast 102 truck manifold or a hybrid roots will be nice.
