Help please!04-07 cts-v shifter bushing??????
Hey guys,
I am trying to locate a part number/name for this particular part. This bolts to the floor of the car and to the shifter. I was told its purpose is to help eliminate the vibrations from the transmission. Anyways, it is obviously a GM OEM part, but none of the dealers I've talked to do not have it on their parts diagrams.
The bushings are still functional, but as you can see, they are tearing.

Screw that. Go find some rubber at hardware store and re manufacture it. Took me longer to find the right section in the hardware store than it did to fix it. Cost me like 3$.
I bought two random rubber donut things just walking down Home Depot looking around and I also went to a local hardware store where they sell rubber materials by the thickness and square foot, bought one square foot and it turned out perfect.
Also bought some other rubber materials and made other random stuff, like jacking pads etc...all in all probably 15$??
