Default Stainless Brake Line Solutions

I am about to install the CS 8.8" rear. I figured while I was at it I would swap the stock brake lines over the SS. However, I am not sure that anyone that has gone this route on a V is happy. So if you have done this mod and it worked for you, post your impressions. If you have the mod and it sucked let me know that too. In either situation please let me know what lines you used. Thanks in advance.

ARE YOU KIDDIN ME?

Everyone of my vehicles got this as one of their first upgrades.

Better pedal feel when stoppin, and harder breaking with less pedal effort.

I have also upgraded my pads to HAWK HP Plus, so far my impressions are met and i am very happy with the results. I tow with my Tahoe as well as drive at 80+mph with no issues. My boat trailer Also has Hawk and SS brake lines, will give you my feedback when i drive it home tomorrow. My caddy is in the shop being prepped to start and run...

I got the Racing Brake kit from MAPerformance. It's not listed on their site, but if you email them, you can order it. Pedal feel is awesome, highly recommend. I went with Racing Brake after hearing about some of the Goodridge kits shipping with incorrect fittings.

I'm really not. I have seen several folks mention softer feel after the swap (apparently from problems bleeding the system). So I really do appreciate these inputs.

I got 'em. The problem is I don't notice much of a difference. Probably because I need to drive a car back to back with and without them.

Love them - I don't have a vehicle without SS Brake Lines!

I've got the GiroDisc ones through Luke at Lindsay. I think they were branded as UUC when I first got them.

Never had an issue with them at all. Full trust in them and that's wheel to wheel racing 145mph+ on any given straight...

They guy who designed those aren't at GiroDisc anymore - so just a heads up.
