Default Voodoochikin04 Driveshaft Carrier Bearing and Bushing Review

Will add more details later but wanted to let everyone know that the service that Voodoochikin04 provides is top notch. Turn around time from when I shipped my driveshaft to when I got it back was 7 days. Probably would've been shorter if it wasn't shipped over a weekend.

Link of service below.

Finally getting around to doing this...

My center bearing was ripped apart due to my rear driveshaft CV coming slightly loose and losing its grease. I re-tightened the bolts but it was too late. When the grease came out the CV wasn't working properly and made a groove in the races which we found out later but it made the drive shaft sort of stay in one place putting more stress on the center bearing causing it to rip.

So I contact Voodoochikin04 and get the details worked out. I opted for the 30A bushing. I send him my driveshaft and they do the service and also cleaned up the races that was messed up by my grease drying up in my rear CV. I also did the full re-grease of the front and rear CV for an extra charge. (Well worth it) I was informed throughout the process. I got my driveshaft back in 1 weeks time.

I put the driveshaft back in and the car runs so smooth now. The power transfer feels a lot better and it doesn't add any vibrations. I run a short shifter, UMI MM and a Redshift diff bushing.

Like I said if you need your driveshaft serviced give them a holler. I think it would be a great upgrade even if your center bearing is still "good"

Was this a speed-specific (not rpm) vibration? Worst right around 35mph or so, by chance?

No my vibration is at high speeds than that. Like 58-70 is when I notice it most.
