Default Van meets cts-v

I rarely see another cts-v in my town. I was following this nice silver v and admiring how shiny his pant was. Then this van got between us and runs into the back of the guy. Looks like the damage was minor.

Why do you have a dash cam in your car? Just curious.

I have a dash cam in mine. In California, everyone wants to sue for everything. Having audio and/or video evidence is nice.

Are you familiar with all the Russian dash cam videos? Wildly popular over there because of the amount of fraud. It's a good thing to have even here. I've considered it many times.

I just glanced on Amazon. They're surprisingly cheap. As often as I get rearended I might get a pair to record both ends.

I have had those times...

I've also had those times when you are thankful nobody was around to see what really happened. 'No officer, those donut marks on the street where already there. I have no idea how I lost control of the car and ended up in this nice ladies yard.'

I sure did, never know what kind of story the van might make.

Also, as for the car camera, something new I wanted to try out. Never know when someone runs that red light and lies about it.

1BADCTS: Yes, I find myself deleting videos all the time. The Mini SD Card can be easily removed and lost.

(There isn't a strong enough smiley to agree with this statement.)

lots of positive automobile karma points for that move. The way that van was riding the brakes before the crash makes me think he had his face buried in a cell phone.
