Did you get a kit or are you piecing it together?

It's still being worked on. Have to do bov and bpv and kinda have play with the intercooler or get a smaller one for it to fit.

I still think the GTO bracket on the other side is better. There is the cts-v on youtube that has this side setup. He cut out his core support for a filter I believe.

Edit: Here....

I believe he is running the f series blower which is a bit bigger in size.
The reason I didn't want to go with the gto kit is I didn't want to deal with spacers for the bracket also this bracket has two belt tensioners so it should be better to prevent belt sliP.
For routing of charge pipes the gto kit is easier.

Yea I would love to have that kind of space for air intake solutions. The GTO kit does have its challenges.

I don't see it sir. What space? He has maybe two inches in front of the blower, and the other guy cut out the top of his core support. Add an alradco radiator to his and you have next to no room. Not even for the sharp 90 intake tube the gto kit runs. JMO

It's hard to tell from the pic, but I was just thinking if you remove that screen intake that looks to be ~2" long, then the other 2" that's between there and the support, it seemed like ~4", which is more than I have. Again, it's hard to judge by just the pic.

Now I see it. That screen thing is kinda big, and worthless. Could just strap a filter directly to it. Might be a better setup thinking about it.....

If you could rotate that blower so he charge pipe faces down or to the left slightly I'd imagine piping would literally be the same thing. Probably easier than the GTO kit.

Hey, OP! Tell me more! What bracket, head unit, inner cooler, etc! No one like waiting for a build thread. they are supposed to be updated as you go.

I wanna write up a full build thread with pricing so if any one is thinking to do something similar they will know what to expect.
As far the the small details
3in core procharger intercooler.
Same side in and out
D1sc is the blower
C6 A&A corvette bracket
Custom all aluminium radiator. Will share once I confirm its sufficient enough to keep the Temps down. It has a 2inch iirc core so definitely better than stock one in theory

This radiator you speak of......why is it custom? and is it necessary for the build? Could you have done it with out the custom radiator basically. Because if it wont work with an alradco I'm back on board with the GTO kit.

But thanks for that parts list. Its nice to see the c6 bracket was used. The GTO brackets are harder to find if you are piecing one of these kits together.

This radiator would run you probably about 300$ with all the needed modifications. Yes you need to have it because with the c6 kit the upper hose doesn't have enough room because it hits the procharger valuet.

I like that there are more people doing custom s/c builds. Your build looks great! I'd love to see more of the radiator/support and charge piping. Do you have any plans to put an air filter on it?

Yes I have plans to do some kind of filter on it but currently I just wanna wrap it up so I could dyno it and make sure everything is good and I didn't mess up on my math any where.

Here is one more picture to keep you all going
