Recently spliced an AUX cord in to the XM wiring in my 04 V with the Bose 8 speaker system. Works just like it should... Except the 10" sub in the rear deck doesn't play. Only when using the AUX cord, on the XM input. Otherwise, all speakers work as they should when using CDs or radio.

Any ideas?

When the device being used to play music (Iphone) is charging on the cars power outlet, the left channel cuts out completely, but the sub starts working. WTF.

I vaguely remember other people having similar issues. Some people had to swap left and right channels on the wiring.. Or something like that. Some guys couldn't follow the write exactly or experienced your problem. I think. I may have even had to do it differently. Its been a few years but we did two cars and works great still.
