Completed my 5 lug swap!! Super easy...Pics inside!
So I got tired of my 6 lug hubs on my V... So I decided to do a 5 lug swap. It was basically a one step process that involved a 2500 mile round trip in 2.5 days and a little bit of money.
I also improved upon the handling by leaps and bounds, shifting is amazing now and the attention level went through the roof... in my tiny town!
Here is my new 5 lug swap....

We drove the car home 1400miles.. It averaged 28.5mpg over the whole trip. With several high speed runs and heavy foot syndrome through the on ramps...
I paid a bit less than book value.. And considering the mods and condition I feel the price was fantastic. The PO used the car as a show car and his wife and him spent countless hours detailing it. It looked brand new when I picked it up. The engine is spotless. Interior was clean and nothing worn out or wrong or broke. So far I've added in an aux audio cord pretty much just like on the V...with a head phone cord spliced into the xm channel.

Lol, good one, you got me!
Vettes are an awesome performance bargain. I'd love to drive one every day to work, but I need more seating..... I bought the V so I wouldn't always have to drive the wifey's altima!
Eventually we all move on to something else....if the car is a better suited to your lifestyle than the V, then congrats on the upgrade!
