Default Car died while driving...need help

I was driving it on the highway for about 30 mins and it just died. Battery stays on and radio, the cluster is off though. No check engine light, and no codes Tried turning it back on and nothing, no turning over. Help!

alternator? did it stumble? do you think it is fuel related?

i would first be testing out alternator and inspecting the terminals, and also testing for fuel pressure

I just got home from being towed. It didn't stumble, just cut off completely. Might be alternator, battery is showing 12.4v and I have it hooked up to the charger. Everything else turns on except the cluster. I can somewhat see the two info screens on the cluster but it's extremely dim.
I'll report back once I look into it more.

Check the wire off the back of the alternator!!! Do you have headers?

sounds alternator related, didnt charge your battery...if the alt dies then the car will continue to run off the battery (minutes if that) then it will drain and just shut off. been there done that.

I don't have headers and just checked the back wire and nothing seems out of place. One new thing I noticed was now when I turn the key, the sunroof adjusts itself. I don't understand why the radio/ac turns on when I turn the key but not the cluster?..

Oh and it did just say service theft system really quick. Just once though.

is the battery fully charged? I would double check all your wiring and then check your battery volatge with a DMM then try and start it (battery power) and then monitor the battery voltage after words.

possible that your alternator just died which would then start deteriorating your battery..

So I charged the battery completely, go to turn the car on and it still doesn't even turn over. Lights in the cluster still don't turn on. Radio and ac work. No codes are showing, and weirdest part.... when I hit the alarm button on the FOB, it doesn't set off the alarm, it just turns all the lights on the cluster for a second and shut off again. I'm completely dumbfounded. I hate eletronic, is It too late to dump it in a lake? Lol

Oh and also bypassed the starter relay and that's the only way the car cranks, but still doesn't turn over.

Try another battery.

You say you charged it, but without knowing the voltage under cranking, it could be bad.

You should be able to hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key.

Sounds ignition switch / VATS related. Possibly woring to the PCM or fuse blocks.

Finally figured it out.. it was IGN-1 micro relay in the fusebox. I guess it's going bad?.. pulled it out, and plugged back in and now everything on the cluster lit up and started right up!. I'm glad it's a cheap fix!.
