Default First upgrade for my LS2 V (NO2)

Hello,

I made an introduction thread already, but wanted to put a "build thread in this subforum.
After alot of going back and forth on what mods to get i finally pulled the trigger on a Nitrous Outlet kit. Why? because down the road i can upgrade cam for a nitrous application, instead of getting a cam now and having to get a new again for the nitrous system. I also got the Nitrous Outlet 4an purget kit and Lingfelter 2-step with timing retard control to compliment the kit.

Only modes done to the car are:
1 3/4 Kooks headers
high flow cats,
stock resonator
muffler delete.
creative steel mounts.

I will also be getting the Gforce axle to alleviate the wheel hop.

I will be posting pictures as the installation of the kit progresses along with some videos when available.

Here is the candidate:

Stay tuned!!!!

'nitrous' cams are a waste N20 doesn't care about valve timing to any degree (no pun) like boost would.
Get the CAM you want, then spray on it... no need to match the 'marketing gimmick nitrous label cam' with a nitrous setup.
If n20 cams were really that great... then stuff like this would never happen:

Enjoy the build !

I would do subframe bushings before the G-Force axle in attempts to alleviate wheel hop.

Nitrous was the first thing I did to my V when I had it. As far as the cam choice it has zero effect on power until you start getting to a 250+shot. Thats when you do a nitrous specific cam.

Nitrous outlet makes a solid kit, they would be my first choice if I bought a kit now.

vehicle already has creative steel bushings, block, mounts from front to back.
I already have the Nitrous Outlet kit in the mail along with the timing retard control module and purge kit.
Next up for upgrade will be the rear axle.

How many extra ponies will a 100-150 shot net to the ground? I've toyed around with the idea of installing nitrous, but i would think it'd be the death of my diff & rear.

uhhhhh... 100-150hp lol. but this car is not meant to beat on out of the hole. if you are roll racing 2nd 3rd and 4th should be ok. if you want to spray from the jump and try and live on a stock rear you better have a progressive controller on it. but even then you better have a 8.8" fund going.

I've never used or installed a nitrous system before. Can you post pictures of the install? Curious as to what sticks out in the open and what gets tucked away.

I revved mine out to 6700 on the bottle sometimes more. Should make good power on 150 shot.
