Default Service Steering System in DIC & Increased Steering Effort - no noise, no leaks.

Getting the 'Service Steering System' prompt on the DIC and am having a loss of power steering function. I don't appear to be leaking/using fluid and the PS pump makes no abnormal noise. Steering effort is equally difficult in both directions...thoughts on what is causing this? Essentially I'm not getting any of the 'tell-tales' pointing specifically to pump, steering rack, or 'other'.

FYI, the motor was just out of the car and this happened upon reinstall. Not sure if its related. All new belts too, FYI.

Thanks!

I would go back through the install and make sure no wires or sensors were damage, if your not having physical issues, it is probably electrical. Take a flash light and look extensively
