Just wanted to see how my Maggied 04 was vs my buddy's 2011 GranSport with an Edlebrock supercharger so we had a quick run.

Suprised you didnt crack 500 rwhp with those mods but then again have you thought of putting a 2.6 pulley on? I made a little less rwhp then you but I dont have headers or a cam but I put a 2.6 on...

Or do you have a crank pulley? How much boost on that run?

I've made a few since I last updated my signature. A while back I had dropped a valve and had the motor rebuilt. Bottom end is now forged, got a free set of stock ported and polished heads ( don't know how much they flow). Cats were gutted by accident! Had the car on the dyno and it blew the driver's side cat out the tail pipe. When I checked the passenger side there was no cat. In addition I'm now running the 2.6 pulley with the gates racing blue belt. I believe I'm somewhere between maybe 460 to 500hp.

Lol car was in the shop that's why the windshield was fixed, but got an appointment to get done.

That noise is the engine bogging a little. Taking it back to the tuner

No offense by this but he should have only been in the picture for a second or two. A 600rwhp vette should absolutely murder a maggied V. Cant beat the sound of the maggie btw

Yeah I'm with you on that one. There is something wrong with that vette. He either can't find the gas pedal or his tune or shifting really sucks.

That bouncing whining on the V sounds like a bad shift with the drivetrain bouncing around a bit and possibly S/C tensioner flopping around from shock load of the gear shift.

damn that vette looks good. solid run but i am with the rest saying the results dont match. but as they say thats why they play the game. whoever drives like a man wins.

Don't know about destroying the V trust me he was trying. He had an 05 V that was destroyed in hurricane sandy and insurance company made him a great offer so he got the Grand Sport. Also don't forget the Grand Sport is rated at 430 HP stock, and with the Edelbrock supercharger it is rated at 554 HP at the crank. His car dynoed at 490 hp with the stock injectors and stock pulley. He tried the smaller pulley which would have given him more horsepower but he ran out of injector. The duty cycle was like 98% so he went back for the stock pulley. The vette is around 500lbs lighter so he definitely has the weight advantage. Hp wise we sorta evenly matched.

So all I'm saying is yeah he should win, by maybe a car or two , but I don't think he can "destroy" me.

Watch out for the video of me and him and another buddies 2012 V with a pulley an tune.
