Roughly 8k to spend on a stock ls6 v or beat to hell 92 z28
Was leaning towards an ls2 swap with ls3 heads and cam. Then a cs rear but im taking suggestions.
Ps if i do get the engine my turdgen will get the ls6

I completely agree. I had a V1 and put about $4k into heads, cam, bolt ons and tune and did all of the work myself. When I was done I sold it and bought a V2. The V2 is much better honestly I wish I would have bought that in the first place.

Crate LS3.. Now you've spent $8thousand dollars.. You have an engine that makes a whopping 25-36more crank horsepower than the LS6, so you really won't feel much more power.. And you'll have a stronger rear end.... I really hate to be a naysayer... BUT.. It feels like a waste of money.

Wonder what an automatic trans overhaul is going for in a V2? At least you can by replacement superchargers fairly cheap. New shocks?? Don't even want to think about it.
I'd bet the overall operating cost of a V2 is going to be pricey once it gets over 140, 150k miles...

The dealership id buy it from sells them for 6 and id go ls3 for future plans of a Tvs.
