maybe he's referring to the short run of flexible nylon tubing up in the engine bay before it changes to pure aluminum tubing under the car (?)

I'm curious why did the valley cover need machined?

Great build!

The standard valley cover has dimples that won't clear the bottom of the supercharger and the bolt holes are raised. The cover is then drilled for the countersunk valley bolts so the heads don't protrude. The supercharger would be sitting on all of this and the ports would never seal.

Hard to explain, I have my builder making a diagram with details of the fuel system and taking more pics when he has it apart next to do some changes.

There is the stock pump in the tank and a 255 Walbro.
The stock pump is used to transfer fuel between the two tanks/Venturi Pump. (there is a fuel filter back here as well)
The 255 Walbro is feeding the Surge Tank through the factory feed line.
There is a nylon tube added as the return from surge tank to gas tank

The below lines are all 6AN
From the surge tank the line goes to a fuel filter
from fuel filter to back of driver side fuel rail
then crossover from front of driver rail to passenger rail
back of passenger side rail is connected to FPR
from FPR it returns to surge tank

I'd be interested in seeing what this car, with that meth setup can run at the 1/4
