Default NAV disk question

Does anyone know if the GM Nav disks are specific to certain makes, like could I use a 07 DTS Navi disk in my 05 CTS?

nope...unfortunately for some reason gm decided to give the cts and different nav unit then the rest of the GM lineup...you gotta get one specifically for a cts...some have had luck using the disc out of an infiniti....contact 'heavymedals' he might be able to sell you one.

The nav discs are specific to the model (thanks to the intern GM hired).

The Zenrin 6.5 is the most current that will work in the CTS.

It will not operate with XM radio traffic, which was not available in the early 05 and previous years.
