Default Hit the Dyno

Best of 239.1 rwhp and 217 rwtq on a Mustang dyno (torque seems a bit low, but Im wondering if thats due to the unlocked converter?)

This was all in the v6 with a 3200 stall ...cars still N/A

The purpose of a torque converter is to multiply trq. Generally an unlocked stall will spike a high trq number but it depends at what rpm they started the run. Seeing the graph would give a much beter picture. Locking it will usually help the hp a bit.

from what I've heard locking the converter you are asking to grenade it, thats why I opted to leave it unlocked....I thought this was the main reason we should not be shifting into 4th at WOT, and why the pcms prevent this.

The pull is from 110-176km/h and goes from about 5000-6000 rpm.

I'll post the graph in a few minutes...the guy smoothed the graph so it shows about 3 less hp and tq than what was actually recorded.

the torque isnt up much from what I think most guys dyno at stock...but it's very linear...

here's the graph...I touched up the numbers in pen because they were hard to read otherwise. Car was still pulling at 6000rpm...I opted not to spin it higher at this time until I find out what I can take it to safely without starving the bearings for oil...

Your trq likely peaked before that rpm. I lock my car in 3rd with hp tuners so that they can start the pull down low. I don't lock my converter its only a single disc so that would spell disaster.

convinced she'll run 12's if I can get her to the track...she trapped 85.83mph in the 1/8th when she spun a bearing...since then we've added a bigger cam and a little more compression, and jumped from a 3.90 to a 4.10 gear in the back (I really want my 3.90's back )

that 13.6 run was only on roughly 15-17* of timing to! Now that we have the tune more or less where it should be she'll be seeing 28-30*

That is impressive for a V6, always like to see people that don't take the easy route.
