Well first time down the track with her in almost 2 years.

I think I had a combination of too much weight(me and the car)

3/4 tank of old fuel and the 12 bolt plus the DA was 1300 (track elevation is 630ft)

Best of the night was:

60ft 1.788 1/8th 8.011 at 86.91 1/4 12.534 at 109.17

Of course the timeslip printer was broke so we had to go to the tower to get them.

I may have run quicker but I couldn't be bothered picking up every slip and got 10 total of about 20 runs.

The track announcer said I was Mr Consistent

1.7- -1.8 60fts and 6 of my ten slips were between 12.54 and 12.59

My worst run was 12.68 at 109.91 and that was right off the street with no cool down.

I think I better get a new tune in this pig and put her on a diet because I like eating too much and at 3700lbs or so she has more to give

Seriously though I think I will get a set of cloth seats and get rid of some seam sealer and insulation.

Maybe yank the air conditioning, although it still blows nice and cold. so that will be tough one.,

Here is some of what I did to the v6: http://highperformancejunkies.com/pi...ght-reduction/

There is so much weight to pull out of these cars while still keeping all safety items in place (crash bars, Air bags, horns, etc)

A long time ago Dale.

The car needs to be retuned for the 3.73's and some weight reduction to offset the 12 bolt.

I might run a slick and skinny combo in the fall and sell the 17's.

My best run happened after 3pm the hottest point of the day,the DA was 1808

Corrected to sea level it was a 12.25 at 112.22 which would be a new PB

I should be out to play in a couple of weeks. still contemplating pulling the ac but havent been able to talk myself into it. good timeslips though for a bolt on. How much of that is driver skill though.

Only the launch in Drag Racing requires skill, keeping it pointed straight after that is all thats required.

I couldn't get my car to leave hard in the left lane my best was 1.82 and 1.84 seemed the norm.

There was a mid 12 second blown Lightning on slicks and skinnies in the right lane and I wanted to beat him.

I concentrated on the launch and got a 1.864 60ft and I cut a poor light because my attention was getting the car out of the hole.

He treed me bad .237 RT to my .699 RT

He ran 1.889 60FT 5.246 at 330ft 1/8th 8.050 at 87.27 1/4 12.576 109.07mph for the win

Mine was 1.864 60ft 5.236 330ft 1/8 8.049 at 89.00 1/4 12.581 at 109.35

Looking at the splits I had him everywhere but the tree, even with the crap launch and he got the win light because he showed more skill.

If I would have just driven the car instead of over thinking I had the win bulb my worst RT to that point was .251 and the craptastic .699 along with my worst 60 of the day cost me the win.

Thats NOT driver skill

I'll be surprised if I got out much before end of August- work is ramping up hardcore on me and I am not likely to see relief until August.

But maybe something will come sooner...I **think** I just got my electrical issues figured out...*think*

Its good that your work is busy, what about Friday nights?

I am just going to go out and have fun when I can, maybe run a few bracket races.

I might possibly go to St Thomas and get a PB in the summer that track is always optimistic for time and mph.

I met a young guy with a 2015 Mustang Turbo 4 banger and he claimed he ran 13.5 at 105 at ST T and he only got 13.79 at 98mph here.

My LT1 TA always went quicker there.

Nice buy Arun, those ILE's are nice cars.

That bad boy should run upper 12's stock.

My L99 2010 went 13.08 with just a K&N CAI.
