No go for me for Wednesday but if the weather is good, I'm going to be heading down to Cayuga on Sunday, the 28th.

They have to be better than your street tires.

I like the Mickey's I have had good results with them 1.72 60 ft on a 275/40/17 is pretty good.

To get better I need a 15x10 combo with a higher profile.

Man, Sunday's weather is looking more and more shitty everyday that passes by. I will just pretend I went To the track. 12.9@107 1.95 60ft on street tires. I shifted perfectly and the car is a beast. Lol

Forecast says a chance of rain.

The radar shows almost all of it is past us.

I think I will bring the Camaro today and bring the TA Friday night.

Sounds good.

I pit under the grandstand near the tower.

The Camaro went 13.292 at 106.50 on a 2.09 60ft today also ran a 13.30 at 106.48

I am on my best pass of the day 2.08 60ft and 5.68 330ft and the timing system spits out zero's for the rest of it and no mph

BTW the DA was 1800ft and my best slip corrected was 13.021 at 108.768 which would be PB's

My first time at the track with my Trans Am, ran 13.9@103. Car can definitely go faster with more seat time to get my 60 down. My trans was grinding going into 4th and my rear was howling louder so I stopped after 5th run. My street tires were not gripping much once the temp dropped down anyways. It was cool meeting Tom, he destroyed me the couple of times we raced Lol

Great meeting you Dom.

You did good for your first time out, we all have to start somewhere.

Get your rear end fluid changed and make sure you get the friction modifier added.

As to destroying you my car is set up for drag racing,no front sway, clunking aftermarket torque arm, drag springs,3600 stall, mild weight reduction ect.

Crap I beat a cammed C5 Z06 because of his 2.1 60ft

I thought since today was my last weekend off of my vacation a trip to TMSP for another day of drag racing might be in order.

Guess what ricer fest was on and the traffic was backed up past the town of Kohler.

I just pulled over filled my tank with my jerry can turned around and drove home.

Oh well it was a nice day for a drive in the country.

Rear gear lube was new, the rear has to get rebuilt. Hoping it will last this year and then maybe get it rebuilt during the winter, or find another 10 bolt. I think my next mod will be a mgw shifter
