The only thing I can do is give you a hand doing your own cam swap.
There is always a sense of self satifaction when you do it yourself but you increase risk if you aren't too sure on what to do. For me, half the fun with my car is to do the mods myself.
Dave can do the swap if you want professional work and be on the safe side. I heard good things from CND Perf.

I used to do it all on my own-but now that Dave@CDN Perf has his own shop up and running with "Master LS1 technician Fern", I'll leave it to him. I got 2 cam installs and a head swap and a header swaps planned-all one after the other with back to back dyno testing. Now I can concentrate on work and make more money!!!!

atleast you have options, being in the maritmes, i feel like i'm from anoter planet when i inquire about LS performance.
Thankfully there is alot of info on here, so I can tackle this kind of stuff myself.
