Default Canadians interested in being featured in GM High Tech Performance

John, from GM High-Tech Performance here,

I am trying to convince my editor, Rick Jensen, that Canada is an untapped source for car features.

So how many of you LS1tech types are from Canada, do you read GMHTP, and would you like to see some Canadian cars in it?

I figure if I could get one of you guys to send him a can of Tims we might get somewhere.

i'm an avid reader of your magazine, and drink my fair share of Tim's!

Definitly agree that Canada is a great source of car and of course truck features..

Great magazine, hope you guys get around to coming up.

I bet if I checked I have better part of 8 or more years of your mag in strategic locations around the house and garage!

Keep up the good work! Lots of interesting cars up here too and hopefully mine will be one of them in the next 4-6 weeks.

BTW I blame my poverty on you!

Your mag has also been taking up space around my house and work as well. Without all the info in it, alot of guys would be installing the wrong go fast combo's and making a mess down Toronto Motorsport Dragway.
This is chance to show those southern US guys that our dog sleds are powered by an LS1!

Hey John, there have been a few us up here that have had our cars in GM High-Tech, back when I worked for Agostino Racing My 422 cube LS1 67 Camaro was in it, along with our 1998 Camaro shop car and several tech articals and customer cars were featured, Chris Endres spent weeks at the shop gathering info and pics...
There are a couple of shops up here (Toronto area) who are still leaders in this industry, they are truning out f-bodys and vetts that are pumping out 900- 1000+ rwhp on pump gas, there`s a few 9 second vetts and f-bodys and f-bodys that are running in the high 7`s...Tanner Bosnali If I`m not wrong still has the fastest 6 speed LT1 car...and he`s out of London area, there is also some killer cars down that way..

I buy it every month as well. Although LS1tech is the place to be for the most up to date info in the LSX world, it still is nice to have hard copy to leaf through.
Keep up the great work.

Canadian Performance in Pickering is turning it up a notch! Last year 347 and a F1C ran 9.6@146 on pump gas-full street car, AC, everything-this year shooting for 8's. Here are some of the results so far-still pump gas!

Also working on a 427 that is going to the Silver State Classic and shooting for the standing mile record held by LPE.

There is a TTix car that should make 1000 rwhp on pump gas as well-full accessories and stock computer.

Dave builds all his cars for street use for a wider appeal-it's gotta start, stop, run on pump gas and have AC while using the stock computer!

I thought it was a great mag when it was HTP!! Now its even better that its GMHTP

I'm not sure what you guys are looking for but I figured I might as well add a little about my car while I'm here.

I did the entire car myself. Mechanical, electrical, body, paint, suspension, exhaust, wiring, Interior, and more. To such extent I even fabbed up a bolt in Ford 8.8 31 spline ford rear and all. Did my own wiring harness, 3 stage silver pearl paint, every doo dad you can get. All on my own. Only thing i didnt do was the tune ( Thanks Arun! need to update that soon too )

I think anyone thats seen the car could vouch for the quality

As Toronto_LT1 said it seems that ltx's are left out of the magazine, lsx, and turbo buicks and sy/tys are great machines but lets see some ltx's in the mag too, not just in the readers rides

I think Tom`s 7 second LSX Firebird dragradial car is the most impressive thing I have seen in a long time.It went 7.8`s last year and I am sure it will go faster this year Not to mention the wild paint job he got put on the car I think he should get a feature imo

Great magazine. I read it every month. It's definately the magazine to get for us F-Body guys. It would be awesome to see more Canadian cars though
