This event goes rain or shine so don't wimp out if it's raining as it just makes it a little more interesting.

Racing in the rain isn't necessarily as bad as some people might think . It definitely adds a degree of challenge - and fun! - to the mix! I know the last time I raced in the rain, I felt like I was auditioning for the next "Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift" movie!!

When I raced Go Karts I preferred th rain, it truly showed who could drive.

Last year I won one event with paxxing in the rain with my Formula with 500rwhp and slicks!

V710's.

The main reason I won the event is during lunch it dried up a little. Me and the 2006 Canadian champion were the only 2 to get a semi dry run. He went off course and I did not. Then the sky opened up again and my run stood. I miss the car and need to get it done soon.

The V710 is a good tire, but I will get Hoosier A6's next time. I have to get the car finished first.

Good to see you Slammer 454.

Dale great course design this time, I enjoyed putting my 'alternate' white car through the course...did the rain hold off in the afternoon??

Not a problem Slammer, glad you had fun!

It was a great day, lots of runs (7), good weather and some fun cars to watch being put through their paces. Even my Greyhound Bus!

BTW Slammer the little howl was gone by the time I got home. Strange

I'll have to keep an ear out for it.

Noticed some discusion in another thread about the solo 2, and I did not want to clutter up a sponsors thread.

Here are a couple pics to prove almost anything can have fun out there and actually move out pretty good.

There is supposed to be more pics and a couple vids coming.

Rampant, good to meet you and thanks for showing me the course during the walk thru.

Ray let me ride shotgun for a round. It was a blast.

I'll have to give it a try next year with my 89.

Thanks
