Default Carbed GEN4

Ok folks I'm the middle of a build and im looking for some ideas on to finish the internals. I have a GEN4 block bored out to 4.070 the crank has a 24tooth reluxor wheel. I have 317 heads with double bee hive springs. My pistons are mahle -4cc. part number L92105070F04 for personal reasons I'm going to go carbureted so my intake manifold will be edelbrock 71181 with a 800 CFM quadrajet carburetor. I also have the katech piston squirters installed in the block. This motor will be put into a 1978 Chevy Blazer mud drag truck. So now that you have an idea whatI'im talking about I have yet to purchase a cam, lifters, push rods, and rockers. Since all 4 of those parts kind of need to work nicely together.

so as you can tell its a little of a franken motor build. which makes deciding on parts a little more difficult. any advice would be helpful.

Heads ported or not? What kind of exhaust? Stock stroke for a 6.0? Why a Q jet?

heads are not ported. i don't have exhaust purchased yet but i want a set of Long Tubes and then side pipe just in front of the back tires. stock stroke. and I like the Q-Jet's off road manners for a carb.

So, high rpm is not a concern for max power? Torque in the mud is I assume? A tr224r cam would make plenty of mid range, and still spin 6500 all day easily if you want it to, on a 110 lsa would be great.
