That's so you can get to the head bolts that go from the bottom of the head. You can get to the lifters through there too and ERL make a hold down that mounts to the center of the valley area for lifter guides... It's pretty slick.

Floor is going in. It also has that new chrome molly U-joint covered required by NHRA for 2012. Not sure I needed it because I have steel floors and they will be fully welded in... but I'm there now so what the hell. It will improve resale value I guess it's a good thing, needed or not.

That is very nice work. I have done a handful of cages in fox body mustangs, mostly just the wolfe kits. The main hoop forward is the cookie cutter part, I always like seeing what people do from the main hoop back. Yours came out very nice, I like the ideas.

Thanks, guys! And there are more bars in there now... I'll try to get some pics loaded up soon.
The only thing left is the tin work in the back trunk area, mounting the fuel cell and finishing up the anti-roll bar setup.

Tin work in the trunk is pretty much done and the anti-roll bar setup is finished. <(All but the hardware)
All the bars are in back are finished too. Now the only tin work left is the front panels by the shock towers. Then I'll fill and smooth the engine bay and take it to get it painted. (I don't do paint)
