Default Cam choice for 5.3/g-body

decided to try out the lsx platform, bought a 5.3 cheap from the junkyard, have vic jr intake and msd 6010, want to keep the engine stock with just a cam swap & springs. looking for a inexpensive way to make decent power...if i like it i will probably build a 6.0 later

car is 87 t-type th400 3800 stall, 3000lbs race weight, have a 850 mech secondary holley or a 750 demon, car was setup for bbc so i have 3.42 gears at the moment but will probably run a 4.30 or so, this is not a street car so not as much need for low end torque

what cam should i be looking at?
