Been using carb mounted plates since I started yanking and installing carbed engines, never had a hiccup, even with a transmission attached, so if that is not good enough, then the valley cover design is the only other option I assume.
Same here.....jut helped my neighboor drop a 5.3 and th350 back in my old nova he bought from me sunday afternoon with the trans and motor bolted up.Best way to do it!

Wow, if people are hooking cast iron motors WITH the trans attached, I should be fine throwing just an engine around with it. Looks like ill be getting a carb flange hooker. Thanks for "hookin" a guy up, lol. Ok, no more cheesy hooker jokes. Eric L
