Default well it is going to happen now.

Well I have been on here before and always dreamed about the LS swap after much disappointment in what i had I finally fell into a smoking deal on an LS motor.

Car is a 70 nova that will be getting an LS3. I'm sure I'll be turning to you guys for help. The engine will be on E85 since i already have the carb and fuel system for it from my last swap.

the hardest part is i went from a well thought out 468 big block in my 69 vette to a VERY poor small block when i got this nova. old big block went 6.71 @107 in the 1/8 with 3.25 gears and 28 inch tall tires N/A 10:1 468 custom cam dart heads. this small block is a 11.7:1 265 273 @ .050 solid roller afr210 eliminator heads with the wrong springs wouldn't RPM and had NO torque from that big *** cam and low compression.

Well, your big block went .4 fater than my stock lq4 and 10 mph faster with me pushing a manual Trans, that is allot of induction and cubes for a small difference in performance to a stock truck motor, lol.

The best party about it was that it was a real nice combo.... 490 ft/lbs at 3000 and 499 @6000 with a peak of 540...... 229 236 @ 50 cam. Just a real nice combo.... I'm looking for a nice combo again..... This will get boost via centrifugal blower down the line.
