I am putting together a 93 s10 already set up for sbc but im doing a 5.3 has 411 rear gear and using a 700r4 trans with 3000 stall looking for opinions on the set-up engine will be stock running msd 6010 box and 700 to 750 dp carb either using the rpm dual plane or single plane. This will be moslty a street truck so im looking for advice on the intake and cam selction being a moslty street truck I still want to make good power it definetly wont be my DD

Any advice appreciated thx

With that gear and converter, I would pick the vic jr., 750 dp holley and a camshaft in the 220 to 230 duration @ .050 and a lobe separation angle of 108 to 112.

I'd do a 650 DP, edelbrock 2215 cam and performer intake.

You got a thing for that Eddy cam. When are you going to get yours?

Just know they work for many applications off the shelf. January I'll be running the 2215 in the 4.8.
