Default Fuel pump for carbed 6.0

What fuel pump do you recommend for a carbed 6.0?

Boosted? All motor? You want to feed the carb and a nitrous kit or two?

A Holley blue at minimum. The aeromotive street and strip is perfect for me. The a1000 will serve for boosted applications.

Carter makes some pumps around 100 gph that are relatively inexpensive and are suppose to be quiet. Summit racing sells a pump that looks just like the holley pumps that are a good bit cheaper. I ran one for awhile.

My advice is don't go too big on the pump. It will just end up making more noise that way.

It's going to be all motor. I want something that is reliable.

Thanks

I've got a edelbrock quiet flo on mine, the big one. I've heard mixed reviews from others but haven't ran into any issues with the pump being the problem yet. It flows really well and isn't all that loud.

The Aeromotive Street/Strip pump would be a great fit. Ive used them in a few project cars. In my opinion they hold up better over time then a Holley Blue

I also run the Aeromotive street and strip. It's good to 700hp, VERY affordable.

They are pretty quiet as well. I will reccomend them for anyone running all motor that is not 500 ci spinning 9000 rpm.

Just now getting back to my build. Which is better for carbed application with the Aeromotive SS, push lock braided hose or steel lines?

I run the aeromotive ss as well. 200bucks. Think aero states. 750hp deadhead and up to 1000hp with bypass reg. Something to that effect. Great pump. Is a little noisy though.

zero noise and ramps up when needed.

Here's my pump. Edelbrock quietflo (the big one)you can't hear anything over the exhaust so this is pump only. Start of the video the pump is picking up fuel after that it's at max pressure max noise

If this doesn't embed I'm sorry I'm on my phone.

Aeromotive SS here. Had it for a year or two. Does its job.

I am curious about that Holley pump. I would love to have a quieter pump.

Is this an inline type of pump or an intank pump? (Same boat op is in)
