Default edelbrock victory jr vs. gmpp single plane

I am currently building an lq4 to swap into my Laguna. I bought a set of PRC cnc ported ls6 stage one heads for the build and need an intake. Ik I want to stay carbed so i have been looking at the edelbrock victory Jr. Intake and gm performance single plane intake is one better than the other or is it just preference?

Never looked into the difference with the exception that the Vic jr was 275$. Plenty of the members here will be able to give more to the performance aspect. I'm sure there has been a magazine article with the two.

I am pretty sure the Vic Jr is a little stronger than the GMPP. I know it is taller so would , in theory , have better high RPM potential. Someone will chime in with a test , Im sure.
