Default First 8 sec pass in my car.

I wanted to post this video in here of my first 8 second pass on nitrous. This is a .082" jet in a Edlebrock plate kit with a Zex perimeter plate. I use a Nano system to push the nitrous out at 1050psi.
This carb motor is a 97 alm ls1 block 383ci 13.5:1 cr, with highly tweaked AFR cylinder heads, super victor, quick fuel 950 carb.
The trans is a th400 rmvb with a brake and with a converter shop 9.5" billet 5000 stahl.

This pass was 8.97@150mph. I think the 60' was 1.28. The car has been 1.25 on the mt pro radials.
This pass was coming off the line at .5 sec delay then 60% start and 100% in 1.3 seconds on the nos mini nitrous controller. So it has a bit more in this tune up. Just need more time.

In car.

I am surprised this alm block has held up so well. I ran it on motor going 10.0 for three years. And after the pick up tube vibrated and broke off causing a few spun bearings. Tho rest of the motor looked great for over 350 passes and about 5000 miles on the street.

The regular wheel are Mickey Thompson ET's. And the Bead lock wheels are Champion Cap 5's with double bead X lock. They are for sale btw. PM me if interested.

Thanks man. It was about 70-80 hours to fix it from the LS Fest deal.

I am going to rewire a few things and maybe do strange front brakes and afco double adj front struts. Also toying with the idea of trying a 3.73 rear gear and take the 4.10 out. I want to bring the rpms down about 500 or so at the traps. I just dont want to hurt my all motor times as it is a dead on 10.0 index car.
