changed cam need advice

Default changed cam need advice

I have the edelbrock/msd box with 6 pills and I just put the GM hot cam with the ls6 springs the cam is 219/228 .525 112 lsa it is in a 4.8 so I am wondering which pill I should use now I was running #3 should I go to 4or5 thanks

No pills. Make your own curve with a computer. Read up and that will help you figure it out. Its all here a quick search and youll find it

My recent timing trials and tribulations taught me real quick that the "pill" curves are garbage.

He mentioned the edelbrock unit, so it is not a option for him.


We will all highly suggest selling that non tunable box and get the MSD unit that can be tuned via lap top. Much better and many more features.
