I had one back in 2006 on my 350. It was too big for my motor, but I will admit it had some nice features and ran pretty good on a bigger motor after I traded it. I have a mighty demon now and don't have much to complain about except my own lack of tuning ability.

Ive sold a few of them, Had pretty good luck so far. Now that Demon is owned by Holley, the quality control has been MUCH better then when Barry Grant owned it.

I use to use Demons back in the day. I always thought they ran pig rich for me. I never could get them right. Im no pro but seems like the Holleys are easier to adjust.

I agree with EastTnZ28, my Demon ran pig rich. I replaced my metering blocks with Quick Fuel pieces and it runs totally different. I didn't get to drive it at the time, but just revving it showed to be leaner already. I'm hoping to take it out for a test drive this weekend...first time in over 2 years. So, I'm still a Demon fan(but I got my trusty Holley waiting just in case).

I don't think everyone is grasping the fact that the carb the OP is asking about is as far from a Holley as you can possibly get design wize.

Looks like its some sort of q-jet, carter afb, thermoquad hybrid

Man, no kidding. Pretty disco looking. Says all new and has "Goggle valve" with "triple stack" primary boosters. this one even has a polymer body just like a Glock

My bad, I didn't read correctly. I was thinking "SPEED" Demon. I have no experience with the Street Demon. Sorry about that.

yes STREET demon well I just bought one and it will be here Thursday I will give an update, from what I've read and vids I've seen this looks awesome , I guess holley bought Demon and completely revamped them so we will see thanks for the input

ok put the carb on and had to reroute (pcv, modulator valve line)and wow I love it so far so good, the thing I hated the most about the edelbrock was starting after she was warmed up no matter what I did it would crank and crank after putting foot to floor it would fire and be loaded up. But the demon click boom fires right up cold, hot doesn't matter and response is great I love the adjustment for the secondary flaps to open slower or faster well we will see how fuel mileage goes

I've got one on a mildly cammed 5.3. It works fine but I dont love it. Runs great off the bottom end but the transition to the massive goggle valve is tough to get right. Compared to the edelbrock I had before it, it also seems down on power on the top end. (and the eddy was 600cfm compared to 625 of the street demon)

My motor didn't like an open spacer with the Edelbrock. And the goggle valve on this carb is like running an open spacer. Thats my two cents.
