Got a good impact?

My methiod is basically oil on the threads and under the bolt head then a little anti-seize on the crank snout. Then hammer it on with the impact as far and as tight as it'll go!

I work as a mechanic servicing electric motors and other electromechanical industrial equipment so I'm no stranger to pulling items off shafts and installing them. So I know when something is tight and when something is loose, and mine is so tight all that bolt is doing is installing the thing

Agreed. I held backup with a 36" aluminum pipe wrench with rags on the jaws then cranked it on with a 5 foot bar. I couldnt even get it to spec

Breaker bar and tighten it till I feel like I'm over doing it. Has not failed yet. Had one I tried to torque with no breaker bar and the balancer came off.
