timing help
Whats up guys trying to mess around with my timing some but im pretty much a newb with timing. Motor is a 370 with milled 317 heads, 233/236 .619/.578 111+3 cam, performer rpm intake, quick fuel 750 vac seconaries carb, 1 3/4 longtube headers, 10.5:1 compression. Currently running the #2 pill on my MSD box, tried the #4 pill and it wanted to keep running when i shut it off. Im running 93 octane. At idle my af ratio is around 13.3 but under throttle it is rich at 10.1. I know i need to lean my carb out some but i feel im leaving power on the table with the timing and i just dont know which direction to go. Any ideas?

As much as MSD have made a good product, the timing pills are useless and they've done a poor job on making any sort of reasonable timing curves. You have to custom map on a computer, it's the only way.
