Default Im stumped

I scored a set of Summit Racings 1.8 full roller rockers for my 5.3 and while I had to change my valve springs anyways I figured I would swap these in as well.

Long story short these rockers use factory fasteners and are non adjustable. I went to start my car yesterday and it wont even idle. I put a vacuum gauge on it and it had 0 inches of vaccuum and low vacuum at a higher RPM obviously indicating a massive vacuum leak. Which im thinking these rockers are holding the valves open.

Anyone ever run into this nonsense? If all else fails I might just toss my factory hardware on

I toss my stock rockers back on and the engine runs great.. Apparently the 1.8s load the lifters up something terrible. I may have to shim them or run a different pushrod.

Leave the stockers on. Sell the summits. Let the chain lesson continue. stockers>summit roller tips
