i have no afr gauge and yes fuel pressure good, compression around 11 double valve springs to 650 lift.

i think it may be some coil packs going out

i ran faster with stock 5.0 block lol

Having to step on it to clear it up makes it sound carb related. Sure you got the float levels right, no dirt or debris left in the carb, didn't pinch a gasket putting it back together, power valve gasket in place, no leaks anywhere? I take it no wideband?

So the issue started after the new plugs/wire/carb clean? Did it run well before the new parts amd cleaning?

If so I would suggest removing and re-installing the old stuff 1 piece at a time. EX:

Remove new plugs, INSPECT FOR DAMAGE AND PROPER GAP. Install old ones. Test to see if the issue is still there.

Remove MSD wires, inspect, install old wires. test

Look into a possible issue in the carb like pop'n'wood recommends.

Another member here, BCZEE, recently went thru the same adventure with a misifre after some routine engine work. After many hours, many parts replaced and much frustration it turned out to be that 1 of the new spark plugs was cracked. Simple, stupid, and overlooked.

Start with the easy/cheap (most likely) stuff and work up to the major (less likely) possible issues
