Default Msd 6010 with ls2 cam sensor

Do I have to put a resistor in the cam sensor wires on a ls2 cam sensor if I’m using the 6010 box. My cam sensor has the short pigtail so I don’t have to flip the wires. I’ve been running it for a few weeks and have had no starting problems but have been having misfiring issues.

The cam sensor is mainly for starting purposes. It just tells the ECM which half of the firing order the engine is on, The crank sensor is where precision timing functions depend on.
