I am getting ready to buy a set of heads and was wonding what kind of power these heads would make with a super Victor and 950 carb? Haven't decided on a camshaft yet.

Welcome to the carb section jonz. While I have never tried those heads personally, if PRC has their name on them, I would run them.
As for making 6s in the eighth at 3300 pounds with a good set of heads, EASY. My car is 3700 pounds and I have PRC CNC ported factory 799 castings, smallish 226/234 cam, Vic Jr., 4000 stall. My car goes 7.0s in the 1/8 on the motor.

I actually have the Stage 1 CNC LS6 heads. As for the square port stuff, you can get it done with those no problem too. It just depends on what you are doing. If you are using a stock junkyard short block, there are some advantages to running the cathedral port stuff. If you are going to build the bottom end with forged pistons, I would say it is a coin toss.
