Default Completly off the subject, but its that time of year

My son, my little boy, is starting his first day of JR high tomorrow.

I remember that snowy day in March when we brought him home from the hospital. Ive never been more nervous in my life, lol.

It seems like only yesterday I was in Jr High myself.

Hes growing up to fast. Completely off the subject, but I just had to say that, lol. Eric L

Time flies man. My 11 year old talks to his teachers about their car problems. The little guys are a sponge, they absorb so much knowledge. Its truly amazing to watch the transformation. Enjoy it.

Not to make you nervous Eric, but keep a good eye on him for the next few years. Jr. high/middle school is a very important time and there are a lot of negative things going on with his peers at that age. More pressure for drugs, violence, sexual stuff etc. I have seen a lot of kids go really sideways at that age.

All awesome! I remember those days, my boy...or man is now 20 and in his second year of college! He is gonna do much better than the old man and I sure am proud of him! The old cliché' is so true, they do grow up so fast! it sure does not feel like it when they are small, but before you know it,,, you hear, dad, can I borrow the T/A?
and my advice to all of you, just say NO! ain't gonna happen! ask me when you are 30 HAHA, you know I still need to keep that boy safe! ;-)
I still remember what I would do with a car like that at his age, race anything and everything that would race... y'all have fun with them kids, your all good dads!

Default Recent Father

This is my little duder, Wyatt. He is about 6 weeks old now and mama and I are head over heals for him. Every day when I get home from work he is bigger, heavier and has learned something new! And yes, the moment you meet your little person, screaming and wiggling, your heart melts and you instantly become a father. And I already know that being a father and raising him (and probably 1 or 2 more) is going to be the greatest thing I do in my entire life.

And oh ya, Doug G, she is only 14? Ya, you are going to be in SO MUCH trouble in a few more years!!

Daughter: “Daddy can me and Johnny take the Camaro to the Drive-in?”

You: "Of course honey, I'll drive and he can ride in the trunk...er...backseat."

Good luck is all I can tell ya dude!
