Default Which is the best intake for my setup

I have a 5.3 all stock right now. Going into a 85 c-10. It will have a th400 trans and maybe 3.73 gears up or down a size. 2500-3000 stall. Haven't decided on my cam yet. Plans for the truck is just a weekend cruiser and a show or two. No plans to race the truck, gonna have to much invested to lose control. Had planed to go with the Vic jr. And now I'm leaning more towards the performer. Just curious what is recommended for this setup

If you are not going to be insing a larger cam and larger converter, the rpm is the way to go. Will help with torque down low for the heavier truck any way.

This would be the biggest cam I would consider. 224/224 .581"/.581" and don't want to go over a 3k converter. I don't see myself running over 6500 rpm's but I don't want to make a decision I'm gonna regret in the long run

I would choose a Performer RPM for that application for sure.
