After seeing the dilemma of some here, I kind of have it made. I have 2 houses, the one I rent to my dad has all my tools and my house I stay in garages the mustang and TA. A 50x50....I would be more than pleased.

This car was developed for a very specific purpose. I am a rookie to drag racing, so we designed the car to be an efficient and predicable bracket car. My goal was to get as close to the 12.00 street class cutoff as I could. Turns out it worked as the first race of the season we brought home the win. I could put a better cam in it and revamp the heads, but that is just money running away from the LS build. so I am going to try and shake up the bracket classes locally in 2015 and build the LS for the 2016 season.

Turns out they are doing a street class in a 7.5 index out here. I would love to make that happen.

you say efficient, but do you mean consistent?

SNS did away with the 7.5 index years ago. are you talking about the DOT bracket class for 7.5 and slower that's coming up? I plan to run it with the s10. I have a lot of slowing down to do. your wife's car would be perfect for it.

12.03 x 110 = 1323.3 I'd say that is pretty efficient.

why swap a 5.3 into the stang? the 6.0 is probably plenty slow with the current transmission

6.0 is making noise, was low on oil evidently.

Pro Comp. I wouldn't chance $400.00 on it. I wouldn't use anything they sell as a moving part. JMO. I just noticed streetknights electric water pump set-up in the Nitrous thread pictures. Looks easy enough and I'm sure he would help you with information.
