I am currently considering a S60 with S-Trac differential. I am also probably going to go to a 3.73 gear and tighten up the converter for nitrous. I feel like I have achieved all of my N/A goals.

I've had a full spool in my 9inch for years. I can definitely tell its there when driving on the street, but its not too bad. I do however think that most people wouldnt like it. It does wear your tires down quicker if you drive it a lot. I would probably try a good posi setup next time. The spool is obviously a money saver.

Well, i was going to get to test new carb tonight and the springs I installed at the local TNT night, since its the only one before the 1st race. But this lovely rain cancelled it. Now i dont know .....guess i will go run 3 time trials and hope it goes down the track.

Mark Sullens E85 carb, custom built from bottom up. Built on 950 hp main body, suppose to flow around 830 cfm. He says it should 60ft like crazy.

Well.....my reviews of Mark and his carb are good, the carb does need some changes. It 60ft'd consistent 1.34-35 60fts and was suppose to 60ft harder now. It felt lazy out of the hole and would only go 1.38 best. It ran 6.28 on the gas carb with 2 years of tuning and went 6.35 on E85. The mph was about the same as gas 107 mph. I think there is tuning left in it. He said float level may be too high causing slower 60fts. The fuel is above the 1/2 way line in the sight glass, I need to lower it a bit.Its actually almost to the top of the glass on the rear bowl. The track was very bad for radial cars, track temp was in the 50s. My car ,if it hooked off the line, would go insanely crazy on the 1-2 gear change. The good news is, even with all the cars there, I made it to 3 cars, it was me and 2 buddies, they decided we would split the pot at 3 cars and run it out. I spun bad on the gear change against my buddy in the 5.6 mustang, had to lift to avoid going into his lane. I tree'd him with my 014 light to his 022, but couldnt keep the lead. Still came home with 400 bucks the 1st outing this year. I have a call in to Mark, we are gonna discuss what to change to pick it up. All in all I think it did great for no tuning at all. Just bolted carb on and went.
Oh and Doc and Monza were there.....Doc had the et boards on for his pass, not sure if by accident or on purpose for the haters. I know he wasnt all out, you could tell it was soft.......

The Strange S-60 is on its way. I ordered it with the Strange S-Track differential. The Strange rep says it can hold up what I am dishing out and more.

Good deal man. I think you'll really like the S-Track. That's what I've got in my 9 inch and it acts just like a clutch-style posi in the turns. I'm really happy with it.

In interest of full disclosure though I did have a failure on my first one but it was the "original design". They had since redesigned it and replaced my old one under warranty, to include to and from shipping and re-setting up the gears. The new one has been flawless thus far.

It locked up and acted like a spool. Apparently this type of failure was the driving force behind the redesign. I don't know what all changed internally but I know they went from a six pinion design to a five pinion.

I bet it will be. I think I got my first one in 2012 and the second one summer of 14.

I hope they catch the crook, but more importantly I hope that you get your truck back in good shape.

I have had parts/project cars stolen (59-69 Chevys) on 2 occasions. 17 cars the first time and 5 the second. Both times the thieves were locked away, but the cars were either already crushed or damaged so badly they were worth nothing but scrapping. Both times I was awarded restitution. In the case with 17 cars, it was $250. What was the judge thinking? In the second case they never even set an amount. In fact they did not even notify me of the court date and I did not find out about it until months later. Never received a penny and have been told I probably never will because they are broke/in debt and there are many fines and debts ahead of what they owe me.
Out of the first 3 guys.....2 are now dead and the 3rd got out briefly but is back in prison for a long time now.
The crooks from the second time got only a few years and are probably out by now.

I hope they find it. been looking around, and didnt realize how clean my truck was for the year model. a 2500hd seems to be bringing in around 11k for a bent up work horse that wasn't treated well. KBB puts private party around 7k. here is the truck we're looking for. no tears/stains or broken interior like everything I seem to see for sale.
